What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Event Producer position at Purslane?
This is a senior role managing high-touch, offsite events - only candidates with the relevant leadership and event production experience will be considered.
The Senior Event Producer will be responsible for the daily management of the Purslane Event Production team within the Operations Department. Under the direction of the Executive Director, they will ensure the efficient and high-touch production, and execution of the Company’s full service events and drop-off programming. The Senior Event Producer will assist with the maintenance of current production processes as well as support the development and growth of the production process and team.

We are owned and operated by the Oberon Group: the sustainability-focused organization behind beloved Brooklyn restaurants Rucola, June, Rhodora, and Anais, as well as the recently-debuted Clara on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. We are getting ready to launch a few new exciting projects, and are looking for enthusiastic and motivated sales personnel to support the development of our partnerships, team and mission.

- Utilizes formulaic and process driven application to critical thinking and solution creation
- Possesses the ability to maintain coherent workflows within both regulated and dynamic environments
- Able to maintain a high level of individual and team detail orientation
- Aims to produce and execute event experiences at the highest level through the mission driven lens of sustainability
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree preferred
- 3 years of New York City catering experience
- 1 years of event production team leadership experience
- Extensive knowledge of New York City based event rental companies and processes
- Thorough understanding of event and project based platforms (TripleSeat, Asana, GSuite)
- Knowledge of and passion for the culinary sustainability space
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
