RVT Supervisor

Purrfurably Cats is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join our team! This role is ideal for a seasoned RVT with a strong leadership background and a passion for feline medicine.

In addition to typical RVT duties, you will lead and mentor a small team of technicians and assistants while working in close collaboration with our Hospital Manager and Medical Director. You’ll play an integral role in maintaining high standards of patient care, assisting with appointments, surgery, and dentistry, while also overseeing staff training, enforcing safety protocols, and managing inventory.

This position requires a confident and capable leader with excellent clinical skills, strong communication, and the ability to foster a supportive, team-oriented environment.

This is a full-time position with a 5/8 schedule Monday through Friday and no weekends!

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $32-38 per hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus package: $2000
• CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 5 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of California
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Venipuncture, administering injections and placing IV catheters
  • Anesthetic induction and monitoring
  • Dental prophy, charting, radiographs and extractions
  • Staff training and mentorship
  • Inventory management
