Duties
- Operate pressing machines and garment finishing equipment to produce crisp, wrinkle-free shirts and garments
- Handle dry cleaning processes with care, ensuring delicate fabrics are treated appropriately using specialized cleaning detergents
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency throughout your shift
- Manually handle heavy lifting of garments and equipment to facilitate smooth operations
- Process cash transactions accurately while providing friendly customer service at the cashier station
- Perform routine garment inspections to identify stains or damages requiring special attention
- Follow proper garment care procedures, including fabric identification and appropriate pressing techniques, to uphold quality standards
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality laundry services is desirable
- Familiarity with garment finishing, pressing machines, and dry cleaning processes is preferred
- Knowledge of fabric care, garment care machine operation, and laundry services enhances performance in this role
- Basic math skills are necessary for processing transactions and measuring cleaning agents accurately
- Ability to maintain a clean workspace using appropriate cleaning detergents and tools
- Strong manual handling skills for heavy lifting and precise pressing tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients and team members
