Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and assisting in the coordination of patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the RN
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
- Educate and support patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to all nursing standards and procedures
- Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid LPN license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting/LTAC
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills
- BLS certification
Working Conditions:
This position is based in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA and may require occasional travel to other healthcare facilities in the area. The LPN will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing care to patients with various medical conditions. The LPN may be required to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
