DSP/Caregiver NT 10PM to 6AM Full Time

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated DSP/Caregivers to join our team for overnight shifts from 10PM to 6AM. Your energy and commitment will help create a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where every individual feels valued and cared for.We are also offering a $500 sign-on bonus for fulltime employees and$250 for part-time; terms and conditions will be outlined upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and independence.
• Monitor residents’ health by observing vital signs, medication administration, and overall well-being, ensuring adherence to care plans.
• Support residents with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts, ensuring safety during movement.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and assist residents with eating as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning resident areas and laundry.
• Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or behavioral issues, utilizing first aid or CPR skills when necessary.

Requirements

• Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, autism spectrum disorder, or memory care needs is desirable.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for patient transfers and mobility assistance.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
