Job Summary
This role is responsible for demand planning/forecasting, procurement, and inventory management for a defined global product portfolio with a key focus on the Waxing the City brand. The position ensures continuity of supply to meet customer needs while optimizing working capital performance and supporting overall supply chain efficiency.
Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions)
- Develop and manage supply, demand, and inventory plans using historical data, sales trends, and lead-times.
- Participate in periodic planning (S&OP) meetings with product line managers and brand partners to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities.
- Deliver forecasts to suppliers to meet contractual obligations and drive on-time performance.
- Support new product launches and strategic changes in partnership with Product Line Managers.
- Manage inventory levels and performance to targets (DOS, Turns, Sell-through).
- Create and manage purchase orders, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure timely transportation and in-stock performance.
- Monitor 3PL partners to ensure adherence to receiving and inventory control SLAs.
- Use ERP systems and Power BI to aggregate data and create reporting dashboards.
Knowledge Requirements
- Strong understanding of demand, supply, and inventory planning principles
- Working knowledge of end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution
- Strong problem-solving capability with the ability to think strategically and execute with an operational mindset
- Internal stakeholders, franchisees, and supplier-facing
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory planning, forecasting, procurement, merchandising, or related analytical roles
- Knowledge and/or experience in the beauty or wellness category
