Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer/Architect
Location: Chicago, IL (Local Candidates Only) – Hybrid.
Required Skills
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Strong experience with Azure API Management (APIM) including XML policies, versioning, developer portal, and backend integrations.
- Experience building event-driven architectures using Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus.
- Strong knowledge of Python and Node.js development.
- Experience with Cosmos DB and other NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and/or GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Experience with Azure Key Vault, OAuth2/JWT authentication, and secure API development.
- Knowledge of KQL, Log Analytics, monitoring, and operational dashboards.
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs and ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira or similar).
- Good understanding of Azure networking, Private Endpoints, VNets, NSGs, and Zero Trust architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure Security Engineer Associate
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty
- CISSP or CCSP
