Summary
We’re looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team, responsible for providing both scheduled maintenance and emergency repair (break-fix) services on Small to Medium UPS systems, Power Distribution Units, and Battery Systems (2–120KVA). This role combines hands-on technical expertise with customer interaction, ensuring reliable support and exceptional service for our clients across the Edge market segment, including retail, financial, and municipal sectors.
The Field Service Technician will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and sales teams while upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and power systems
- Diagnose, repair, and test UPS and battery equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers
- Accurately complete service documentation, reports, and records
- Maintain compliance with all safety standards and company policies
- Represent the company professionally while delivering high-quality customer service
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical, or a related discipline (preferred)
- 0–3 years of experience in field service, electrical, or mechanical systems (military experience is a plus)
- Solid understanding of electrical fundamentals and proficiency with test equipment
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel locally as required
