We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Showroom & Operations Coordinator to join our PURPLE Los Angeles team. This role sits at the intersection of office operations, showroom management, and logistics—playing a critical part in ensuring a seamless day-to-day experience for both internal teams and external partners.
You’ll be the go-to person for keeping our office running smoothly, our showroom impeccably presented, and our sample logistics operating with precision across Los Angeles, New York, and London.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee daily LA office and showroom operations, including opening/closing procedures, space readiness, vendor
- relations, and visitor management for a 15-25 person office (from 9AM-5:30PM).
- Ensure continuous reception coverage (by interns) to maintain uninterrupted front-desk support.
- Act as primary point of contact for all LA vendors (IT/tech, building management, maintenance, repairs, couriers, recycling programs, parking), ensuring timely resolution of operational needs.
- Manage the LA office supplies budget and collaborate with the US Operations team to maintain cost efficiency across supplies, equipment, and vendor contracts.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for all LA employees, including laptop setup, email and security access, office tours, and equipment return management.
- Recruit, train, and supervise showroom & operations interns, overseeing all projects, performance, and daily workflow.
- Coordinate all internal culture and community initiatives, including holiday events, client meetings, CSR activities, gifting suites, team bonding activities, and staff-wide functions.
- Maintain and update all operational documents, including password trackers, equipment logs, and workflow guidelines.
- Support executive leadership with submitting monthly expenses.
- Provide support with coordinating occasional staff travel and resolving AMEX-related issues.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of all samples in the LA showroom, ensuring accurate intake, tracking, auditing, and returns across 40 fashion & VIP brands
- Conduct regular audits in Launch Metrics to maintain near 100% accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies, duplicates, and mislabelled items.
- Serve as point of contact for sample movement across LA, NY, and London offices, coordinating timely shipping, tracking, and interoffice logistics.
- Process new seasonal collections and coordinate the return of old seasons, ensuring timely communication with brands and internal teams.
- Collaborate with the VIP and Fashion teams on stylist/editor pulls, sample send-outs, gifting approvals, and overdue returns to ensure smooth operations as needed.
- Collaborate with the New York showroom team and Finance to track sample-related payments and coordinate shipments.
- Investigate and resolve missing showroom items to maintain accurate sample inventory.
- Ensure the showroom is merchandised daily and weekly to best represent our clients.
- Maintain organized gifting and archive rooms, and overall office rooms ensuring updated inventory, sample condition tracking, and seasonal organization.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and collaborate with the Operations team to implement enhancements.
- Assist in training VIP, Fashion, and Accounts teams on Launchmetrics (samples), showroom workflows, sample management, and best practices.Collaborate with the Launchmetrics team to support system updates and maintenance as needed.
- Work alongside the Showroom team in NY to lead logistics for Press Days and showroom events: planning, budgeting, staffing, vendor coordination, setup/breakdown, and recap reporting.
- Experience in fashion, luxury, PR, or showroom environments
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with inventory management systems (Launchmetrics preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Familiarity with shipping/logistics processes and tools
- Understanding of expense reporting and budget tracking
- Basic IT onboarding knowledge (user setup, access management, equipment handling)
