Job Summary
We are seeking a professional, highly trained, and community-minded Unarmed Security Guard to provide high-visibility security coverage for a local mosque. The ideal candidate will possess a strong security presence.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Active Patrolling: Conduct continuous foot patrols of the interior and exterior grounds, including parking lots, entryways, and main prayer areas before, during, and after services.
- Access Control & Monitoring: Monitor incoming traffic, identify suspicious activity, and ensure only authorized individuals enter the facility.
- Crowd Safety: Assist with traffic flow and crowd management during peak arrival and departure times to ensure a safe environment.
- Firewatch
- Community Relations: Greet congregants with a polite, helpful, and culturally respectful attitude, serving as a reassuring and protective presence.
- Reporting: Document and report any safety hazards, property damage, or unusual incidents to management immediately.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 years of professional armed security experience (law enforcement or military background is a plus).
- Licensing: Must possess a valid, current Class D (Security Officer)
- Background: Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screening.
- Gear & Appearance: Maintain a clean and professional uniform appearance.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
