As a Teller, you are at the forefront of member service. You will build strong relationships with new and existing members, provide tailored financial solutions, and ensure every interaction reflects our mission and service promises.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide service aligned with Martin County Cooperative Credit Union’s mission and service promises, ensuring every member interaction is positive and professional.
• Build Strong Member Relationships: Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with members by understanding their needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
• Manage Transactions & Account Services: Accurately process transactions and handle account maintenance requests, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, account statements, card activation, and general inquiries.
• Ensure Operational & Transactional Excellence: Adhere to security procedures, supervisor override protocols, cash handling standards, and service center procedures. Maintain compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Recommend Products & Services: Identify opportunities to enhance the member experience by suggesting products and services that support their financial goals.
• Collaborate & Grow: Communicate effectively in person and on the telephone with members, supervisors and co-workers. Contribute ideas for improvement,

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: 1–2 years of retail or customer-facing experience preferred
• Skills & Knowledge:
  • Cash handling and clerical office experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions
  • Strong relationship-building skills with members and colleagues

• Competitive Salary: $ 15.00 per hour
• Part-time work Schedule:
  • Monday - 8:15 am to 4:45 pm
  • Tuesday - 8:15 am to 4:45 pm
  • Friday - 8:15 am to 4:45 pm
  • Saturday - 8:45 am to 12:15 pm
  • Availability to fill in for vacations and sick days.
