MacOS Administrator – macOS / Endpoint Management
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid/Onsite)
Duration: 12–18 Months Contract
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support enterprise macOS environments across multiple business units.
Manage Apple device lifecycle activities including provisioning, enrollment, configuration, software deployment, patching, and retirement.
Utilize Workspace ONE for endpoint management, device compliance, application deployment, and policy enforcement.
Support alternative MDM platforms such as JAMF Pro and Microsoft Intune where applicable.
Configure and manage Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE).
Deploy and maintain macOS security policies, certificates, VPN profiles, and compliance configurations.
Perform operating system upgrades, patch management, and vulnerability remediation activities.
Troubleshoot complex macOS hardware, software, application, and connectivity issues.
Partner with Information Security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
Create automation scripts using Bash, Shell, Python, or similar technologies to streamline administration tasks.
Manage software packaging, deployment, and application lifecycle processes.
Support endpoint monitoring, reporting, inventory management, and asset tracking.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and problem management activities.
Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve escalated technical issues.
Required Qualifications
5 years of experience in macOS administration within a large enterprise environment.
Strong experience with Workspace ONE UEM administration and support.
Hands-on experience managing Apple endpoints at scale.
Experience with Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Automated Device Enrollment.
Strong understanding of macOS architecture, security, and system administration.
Experience supporting software deployment and patch management processes.
Knowledge of endpoint security best practices and compliance requirements.
Experience troubleshooting complex operating system and application issues.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with JAMF Pro administration.
Experience with Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management.
Knowledge of enterprise identity platforms including Active Directory and Azure AD.
Experience supporting enterprise collaboration platforms such as Microsoft 365.
Familiarity with certificate management, SSO, MFA, and device compliance frameworks.
Experience with scripting technologies including Bash, Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
Understanding of financial services or highly regulated environments.
