Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced CAE/NVH Engineer with 7–10 years of automotive experience in vehicle acoustics, noise & vibration analysis, and simulation. The role involves developing and validating full-vehicle acoustic models, predicting sound behavior, and supporting NVH performance optimization before physical prototyping.
Seeking an experienced CAE/NVH Engineer with 7–10 years of automotive experience in vehicle acoustics, noise & vibration analysis, and simulation. The role involves developing and validating full-vehicle acoustic models, predicting sound behavior, and supporting NVH performance optimization before physical prototyping.
Required Skills:
- 7–10 years in Automotive NVH / Acoustic Simulation
- Strong experience in vehicle-level NVH testing & correlation
- Hands-on experience with FEM/BEM modeling
- Tools: LMS Lab, ANSA, HyperMesh, Nastran, MATLAB
- Knowledge of Python
- Experience in full-vehicle acoustic modeling and validation
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform acoustic simulations for horns, buzzers, and vehicle warning systems
- Analyze sound propagation, SPL distribution, directivity, and vehicle acoustics
- Develop and validate CAE models
- Correlate simulation results with vehicle test data
- Support vehicle sound quality and NVH optimization
Preferred:
- Automotive OEM/Tier-1 experience
- Exposure to NV Director and acoustic validation environments
