Network SME Engineer – CCIE Lab Certified
Mandatory Requirement
- Active CCIE Lab Certification (Routing & Switching or Service Provider) – Candidate will be rejected without this.
Experience
- Minimum 12 years in enterprise network environments.
- Strong expertise in Routing & Switching, troubleshooting, and migrations.
Technical / Functional Skills
- Networking: Routing & Switching, Cloud, IPv4/IPv6
- Protocols: BGP, OSPF, Spanning Tree Protocol, Multicast (IGMPv2/v3, PIM, Static RP, RP-Anycast)
- Platforms: Cisco ISR, ASR1K, ASR9K, Catalyst 9K, Nexus 9K; Arista Networks
- Overlay Technologies: IPSEC, DMVPN, VXLAN
- Cabling & Optics: 10/25G/40G/50G/100G – Breakout cables, breakout panels
- Automation: Ansible (huge plus)
- IPv6: Design and troubleshooting experience
- Security & Services: Cisco ISE, TACACS, DNS/DHCP functioning
- IoT Connectivity: Troubleshoot network connectivity to IoT devices/sensors
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions for Campus, Data Center, and Cloud networks with IPv4/IPv6.
- Identify communication scenarios between end and edge devices.
- Create and execute testing for data gathering, aggregation, and analytics capabilities.
- Troubleshoot complex BGP/OSPF issues and perform network migrations.
- Work on Cisco and Arista platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
Certifications
- CCIE Lab Certification (Routing & Switching or Service Provider) – Mandatory.
Soft Skills
