What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Process Engineer position at Purple Drive Technologies?
Key Responsibility:
Lead manufacturing support for new product launches (NPDI)
- Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cost
- Participate in design reviews (DFM/DFA focus)
- Develop and maintain process documentation & work instructions
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support
- Implement quality control and safety standards
- Train and guide production teams
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years in Manufacturing Engineering
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering
- Strong skills in:
- CAD
- Lean Manufacturing
- PFMEA
- ERP systems
- Experience in thermal systems or similar industries (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Six Sigma / Lean Certification
- Experience leading projects or teams
- Exposure to engineered-to-order environments
