As we continue to grow, we're seeking a detail-oriented HR/Payroll Administrator to support our expanding operations.Position OverviewWe're looking for an HR/Payroll Administrator to manage the full employee lifecycle from offer through onboarding, while ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and employment standards. This role also provides recruitment support, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced staffing environment and wants exposure to both HR operations and talent acquisition.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and send offer letters, employment agreements, and new hire documentationInitiate and track background checks, drug screenings, and employment verificationsCoordinate onboarding processes including I-9 verification, E-Verify, and benefits enrollmentMaintain accurate employee records in HRIS and payroll systemsServe as the primary point of contact for new hires throughout the onboarding experienceSupport payroll processing, including timesheet review, deductions, and garnishmentsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Maintain knowledge of tax withholding requirements, W-4/W-9 processing, and year-end reporting (W-2s, 1099s)Assist with unemployment claims, workers' compensation filings, and leave administrationStay current on compliance standards and HR best practicesPost job openings across job boards, social media, and internal channelsConduct initial candidate screenings and phone interviews as neededCoordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managersQualifications2 years of experience in HR administration, payroll, or a related roleWorking knowledge of payroll tax terminologyFamiliarity with employment compliance standards and documentation requirementsExperience with HRIS, payroll software, and applicant tracking systemsStrong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretionExcellent organizational and communication skillsCompany DescriptionFounded in 2007, Purple Drive started as a tech solutions firm and grew into a full-service consulting and talent partner, helping businesses navigate complex technology challenges and access top expertise.Purple Drive was founded to deliver smarter technology solutions by combining deep expertise with an authentic human connection.
