Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and designers supporting complex, mission-critical power infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for overseeing electrical design activities, ensuring technical excellence, managing project deliverables, and driving team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor electrical engineering and design teams.
- Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and industry standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional engineering and project teams.
- Manage project schedules, workloads, and engineering resources.
- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and quality assurance activities.
- Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
- Communicate project status, risks, and solutions to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8 years of electrical design engineering experience.
- 3–5 years of leadership or management experience.
- Experience with electrical design software such as AutoCAD or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical power distribution systems and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
