We are currently hiring for a Senior AI Engineer role based in West Des Moines. The position involves building and optimizing production-grade GenAI and ML applications using cutting-edge AWS AI services and modern LLM frameworks.
Role: Senior AI Engineer
Location: West Des Moines, IA
Experience Required: 8 years (with 2 years in GenAI/LLM/Agentic AI)
Key Skills Required:
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python, REST APIs, React/Node.js
- Experience with AWS AI services: Bedrock, SageMaker, Nova, Textract, Translate, Lambda, Step Functions
- Proficiency with OpenAPI, JSON, YAML
- Experience in RAG pipelines, vector search, embeddings, LLM evaluation
- Working knowledge of LangChain, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, LangGraph
- Strong background in document automation, NLP, and retrieval systems
Role Highlights:
- Build and deploy scalable GenAI/Agentic AI solutions
- Develop AI agents for automation and decision support
- Architect RAG pipelines and vector search systems
- Integrate enterprise AI tools like GPT-4o, Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise, Glean, Genesys AI, etc.
- Implement governance, observability, and responsible AI practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, data, legal, and business teams
- Mentor juniors and lead critical workstreams within the AI platform
