Job Summary
Purple Cow Junk Removal & Home Services is looking for a dependable, hardworking Home Services Field Technician/Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on position that may include junk removal, lawn care, property cleanups, seasonal snow removal, and other home service projects.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up on time, communicates well, and can be counted on by both their teammates and our customers. Our technicians work directly with homeowners, so professionalism, respect, and a positive attitude are just as important as the ability to do physical work.
A valid driver’s license is required. Candidates must also be comfortable safely driving company vehicles and backing trailers. Experience with lawn equipment, trailers, junk removal, snow removal, or other home services is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

As a Home Services Field Technician/Driver, you will work across multiple Purple Cow service lines depending on customer needs, season, and daily scheduling. Responsibilities may include:
- Perform junk removal, including lifting, loading, hauling, sorting, and properly disposing of unwanted items.
- Perform residential lawn care, including mowing, trimming, edging, cleanup, and other basic lawn and property maintenance.
- Perform seasonal snow removal, including clearing driveways, sidewalks, walkways, and other assigned areas.
- Safely drive company trucks and operate company vehicles while traveling between customer properties, disposal locations, and the shop.
- Safely hook up, pull, maneuver, park, and back trailers.
- Load trailers and trucks safely and efficiently while properly securing loads for transportation.
- Safely operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, snow removal equipment, hand tools, and other company equipment.
- Complete daily vehicle, trailer, and equipment inspections and report damage, maintenance needs, or safety concerns immediately.
- Arrive to work and scheduled jobs on time and prepared for the day's assignments.
- Follow assigned schedules and communicate promptly with the office or supervisor regarding delays, job changes, customer concerns, or unexpected issues.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, coworkers, and members of the public.
- Take required before, during, and after photos of work and follow company job documentation procedures.
- Protect customers' homes, lawns, driveways, and personal property while completing work.
- Maintain clean and organized trucks, trailers, equipment, and work areas.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, pushing, pulling, and being on your feet for extended periods.
- Assist with other home service projects and duties as needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 32.0 per week
