About The Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Water Restoration Laborer to join our restoration team. This position supports water mitigation, structural drying, demolition, and cleanup efforts after property damage events. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and willing to learn industry-specific procedures and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with water extraction, structural drying, and moisture mapping
- Perform demolition tasks, including removal of drywall, flooring, insulation, and other affected materials
- Set up, operate, and monitor mitigation equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA vacuums, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites, vehicles, and equipment
- Follow instructions from Crew Leads and Project Managers
- Complete documentation, photos, and job notes as required
- Safely handle and dispose of debris and materials
- Use proper PPE at all times
- Assist with mold remediation tasks as needed
- Support emergency on-call response for after-hours water losses
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physically demanding labor
- Comfortable working in various environments, including crawl spaces, attics, and wet/damp conditions
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Ability to follow safety protocols and use PPE appropriately
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record (preferred)
- Ability to pass a background screening (required by program guidelines)
- Experience in restoration, construction, or manual labor (preferred but not required)
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and nights as needed
- Experience using industry platforms such as Mitigate, DASH, or MICA
- IICRC WRT Certification (preferred, not required)
- Construction background is a plus
