About the Position
We are looking for an experienced Restoration Technician / Crew Leader who can work hands-on at restoration job sites while helping lead a small team. Previous construction experience is a must for this position.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in water mitigation, restoration, construction, remodeling, demolition, or similar hands-on work who is ready to take on additional responsibility.
What You Will Do
- Lead and assist restoration technicians on water, fire, mold, and property restoration projects.
- Perform hands-on restoration work including water extraction, demolition, cleaning, drying, and related services.
- Set up and monitor air movers, dehumidifiers, and other drying equipment.
- Take and document moisture readings.
- Monitor job progress and make sure work is completed correctly and efficiently.
- Communicate professionally with customers and explain the restoration process.
- Work with office staff, project managers, insurance adjusters, and other parties involved in the claim.
- Take job-site photographs and complete daily documentation.
- Maintain accurate job notes, moisture readings, equipment records, and other required paperwork.
- Help train and guide restoration technicians on proper procedures and safety.
- Maintain company equipment, vehicles, tools, and inventory.
- Follow company safety policies and restoration industry best practices.
- Respond to emergency restoration calls when scheduled, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to lift equipment and materials and perform physical labor.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Basic smartphone and computer skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Previous construction experience is a must for this position.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in water mitigation or property restoration.
- Construction, remodeling, demolition, or maintenance experience.
- Experience operating restoration equipment.
- Previous crew leader, foreman, supervisor, or team-lead experience.
Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply.
