Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Restoration Technician to join our growing disaster restoration team. This leadership role is responsible for managing emergency restoration projects involving water damage mitigation, fire and smoke restoration, mold remediation, and biohazard cleanup.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-focused, and experienced in leading crews in fast-paced emergency environments. You will oversee restoration projects from initial assessment through completion while mentoring technicians and ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews on water, fire, mold, and biohazard restoration projects
• Assess property damage and determine scope of work
• Communicate with customers throughout the restoration process
• Provide updates to management, insurance partners, and clients
• Set up and monitor drying equipment and restoration systems
• Train and mentor restoration technicians
• Ensure OSHA safety standards and company procedures are followed
• Complete job documentation and maintain accurate records
• Operate company vehicles and restoration equipment safely
• Maintain clean, organized vehicles and equipment
• Participate in on-call emergency response rotation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of restoration or mitigation experience
• Additional certifications preferred:
• • WRT
• • FSRT
  • ASD
  • Mold Remediation Certifications
• Experience with:
• • Water mitigation
  • Fire/smoke restoration
  • Mold remediation
  • Structural drying
• Experience using:
• • Restoration CRMs
  • Moisture mapping tools
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
• Ability to work in confined spaces and physically demanding environments
• Must be able to wear respirator equipment and pass fit testing
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed
