Job Requirements:
- One or more years of experience within the service-based industry
- Must be able to work well with their peers and customers.
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Must have good work ethics; English is a requirement.
- Must have a Good Driving Record.
- Must be flexible to work after hours, holidays, and on call when needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Willingness to learn and adapt under varying circumstances.
- Ability to follow instructions and make decisions.
- Ability to use hand tools and electric tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Experience using moisture meters is a plus.
- Ability to wear a full body suit, full face respirator, and work in confined spaces and hot working environments with limited visibility on occasion.
- IICRC /WTR certification is a plus.
Bilingual is a PLUS but NOT MANDATORY!
- Responsibilities:
- Work safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, and/or mold.
- Survey damage within the property.
- Evaluate and record damage to all items within the property.
- Cleaning process for both contents and structural damage.
- Demolition of structural damage to properties through the use of hand and power tools.
- Clean up assigned job sites after demolition.
- Perform initial site visits.
- Conduct moisture inspections.
- Set restoration equipment within guidelines.
- Complete notes of assigned jobs in our primary App (MICA).
- Contact the customer of assigned jobs with ETA.
- Take photos of jobs assigned at start, completion, and throughout the process.
- Responsible for maintaining assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Responsible for unloading and reloading assigned vehicles with equipment.
- Keep equipment clean and organized in the Warehouse.
- Responsible for unloading trash in assigned areas.
- Responsible for recording your time and coding it to the job assigned.
- IICRC certifications (IICRC classes offered from time to time)
- Assist in the development of new hires through on-the-job training.
- Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Customer Service experience required.
