Summary of Position:
Production Technician will support their team in order to manufacture Metal, Rubber, Teflon, and Silicone Hose assemblies.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(List in order of importance):
- Works safely within the parameters of and comply with company policies.
- Responsible for Supporting and building various Hose assemblies per work instructions and prints, cleaning, and packaging.
- Operate and maintain production equipment as per SOPs.
- Participate in continuous improvement processes.
- Comply with ISO and cGMP regulations.
- Daily organization (5S) and cleanliness of work area to comply with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in inventory cycle count programs and accurate record results.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Highschool Diploma/ GED or equivalent work experience in related field.
- Computer skills: basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Basic experience using Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting product schematics
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, preferable for bioprocess, medical devices or other GMP environment.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs minimum.
- Detailed oriented and disciplined.
- Good communication skills.
