What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift - Maintenance / Production Support position at Purity Linen Services?
We are looking to fill a a position within our Production Dept..
Full-time, 1st shift position that consists of a 5 day work week / 8 hr shift, 6 am - 2:30 pm
This position revolves on an alternating schedule.
Week 1 = Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Friday (Saturday & Sunday are the days off)
Week 2= Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat (Monday & Sunday are the days off)
After week 2. we start again on week 1.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest possible machine up-time for the dept.
- Proper use of Emergency Stop Buttons / Machine shutdown procedures
- Resetting machines to start and notifying production employees
- Reporting any possible malfunctions / repairs needed to maintenance mechanics
- Assist Maintenance Mechanics when needed
- Ability to follow direction and adhere to company policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:-
- Must have good communication skills
- Able to work with little or no direct supervision.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Must have a willing positive attitude to get the job done
- Willingness and ability to cross-train in other areas of the company
- Punctual and responsible
- Bi-Lingual is a plus
-Fluent English Speaking is a must
