- Develop and execute the commercial strategy to achieve revenue targets and market growth objectives
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Regional Sales Managers to drive sales performance across all territories
- Set and monitor sales KPIs, pipeline metrics, and revenue forecasts
- Identify new market opportunities, key accounts, and strategic partnerships
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align commercial goals with overall business strategy
- Oversee the Contracts Administration team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant contract management
- Ensure all commercial agreements align with company policies, risk tolerance, and profitability targets
- Streamline contract workflows, approval processes, and commercial terms standardization
- Manage pricing strategies, margin analysis, and competitive positioning
- Resolve escalated contractual disputes and negotiate high-value agreements
- Build a high-performing commercial organization through recruitment, coaching, and professional development
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans for direct reports
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between sales and contracts teams
- Provide regular reporting on commercial performance, pipeline health, and contract status to senior leadership
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform strategy
- Develop and manage the commercial department budget
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in mechanical services, HVAC, or industrial maintenance.
- Proven ability to manage large, complex accounts across multiple sites or regions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems, hydronic systems, or facility services preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel nationally from to 30–50%.
