Primary Responsibilities:

• Migrate legacy SharePoint solutions (SharePoint 2007) to SharePoint 2016.
• Troubleshoot and resolve both out-of-the-box (OOB) and custom SharePoint application issues, including root cause analysis.
• Manage and maintain SharePoint sites, including site collections, lists, libraries, permissions, and features.
• Lead product specification, design, development, and integration efforts.
• Collaborate with product and program stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Refactor server-side applications and services to align with newer SharePoint platforms.
• Configure, maintain, and enhance SharePoint solutions post-migration.
• Support additional technical tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 5 years of hands-on SharePoint server-side development (2007 to 2016).
• 8 years overall in software development.
• Proficient in C#, , .NET Framework, and IIS.
• Deep experience with SharePoint site templates, master pages, page layouts, and customizations.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint server architecture and services.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, including writing SQL queries, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience with InfoPath form development (including code-behind) and form migrations.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols, including Kerberos.
• Familiarity with third-party migration tools such as Sharegate (preferred).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Frontend development experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript libraries.
• Solid grasp of web service models: SOAP, REST, OData.
• Skilled in debugging client-side issues, analyzing ULS logs, and performing network trace analysis.
• Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control tools like TFS and Git.
