Objective of the Position: Works with the maintenance manager and supervisors in developing and maintaining the scheduled maintenance programs and processes for the production facility, to minimize impact on production
Essential Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that
· Responsible for planning maintenance work orders associated with the repairs, servicing, and efficient functioning of all machinery and equipment in the plant
· Attends production planning meetings prepared to discuss equipment maintenance needs.
· Ensures all accounting and supply chain procedures are followed in relation to performing his/her duties
· Maintains open communication with operations regarding plans for equipment maintenance timing.
· Manages maintenance data collection and information gathering for analysis to determine permanent corrective actions and continuous improvement opportunities.
· Assists the maintenance manager in periodic analysis of cost trends with recommendations for continual improvement
· Recommend equipment/tool upgrade opportunities.
· Recommends solutions to chronic reliability problems and executes planned solutions.
· Reports equipment related problems to operations and recommend/execute solutions.
· Responsible for identifying spare parts needs and organization of spare parts inventory.
· Responsible for organization of the equipment manuals.
· Responsible for reducing or eliminating unplanned equipment downtime.
· Support full use of the SAP PM module.
· Participation in budgetary preparation, tracking, and analysis
· Creation of purchase requisitions for planned work
· Monitor work order completion, backlog, and schedule compliance to ensure health of maintenance systems
Secondary Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that
· Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.
· Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.
· Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirement Profile:
Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:
· Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school.
· Minimum five (5) years related experience in a technical maintenance role working in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
· Ability to travel domestically by car or plane.
· To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.
· Two years planning or scheduling experience preferred.
