Role Summary:
The Employee Relations Manager serves as the bridge between PureGreen’s leadership, HR department, and field workforce. Fostering communication, trust, and accountability across all levels of the organization. This role combines a strong human connection with operational awareness, ensuring that every employee feels supported, understood, and aligned with company standards. Acting as both a field advocate and compliance partner, the Employee Relations Manager conducts regular site visits to monitor culture, engagement, safety, and performance. They provide bilingual communication, coaching, and training to promote a consistent and inclusive work environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Fluent in English & Spanish
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all employees through regular site visits, check-ins, and open communication.
- Serve as a bilingual (English/Spanish) resource for employees—translating company updates, policies, and conversations as needed to ensure clarity and inclusion.
- Conduct and document employee relations activities, including coaching, investigations, and policy reinforcement.
- Provide on-site training and demonstrations of proper landscaping, irrigation, and safety techniques alongside field leadership.
- Support onboarding and orientation for all employees in the field, ensuring new hires understand expectations, policies, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the HR / Admin Manager to ensure compliance with labor laws, attendance policies, and safety programs.
- Assist with the communication of company events, benefits, and recognition programs to field employees.
- Monitor attendance trends, callouts, and turnover patterns across crews.
- Help maintain accurate employee documentation and reports related to site visits, training, or employee issues.
- Support execution of company culture initiatives, such as ROOTS, PURE Awards, Safety Rodeo recognitions, and team events.
- Function as the liaison between all employees-ensuring that staffing assignments, attendance, and performance expectations are clearly communicated and documented.
- Report on any staffing issues (attendance, safety, behavior, or performance) directly to HR and Staffing representatives.
- Ensure that all agency workers meet PureGreen’s standards before being placed on job sites (PPE, safety knowledge, attendance expectations).
- Support HR in maintaining bilingual signage, safety notices, and training materials across all job sites.
Expectations & Standards:
- Serves as the ace of HR in the field-representing PureGreen’s People First culture at every site.
- Models respect, reliability, and integrity in every interaction.
- Translates accurately and neutrally between English and Spanish-avoiding favoritism or distortion of tone.
- Ensure all employees, regardless of language, understand policies, safety procedures, and expectations.
- Builds trust with crews through consistency-knows names, listens actively, follows up on concerns.
- Ensures adherence to PureGreen’s policies, DOT, and OSHA guidelines during site visits.
- Communicates updates clearly to HR, managers, and staffing partners after each site visit.

Our company compensation package includes:
- Starting salary $55,000.00
