What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Director - Med Spa position at Pure Wellness Medical Spa?
Clinic Director — PA or NP
Pure Wellness MedSpa | Ocala, Florida
Full-time, in person
Pure Wellness MedSpa is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to serve as Clinic Director and help lead the next stage of our growth. This role combines hands-on patient care with team leadership, operational oversight and sales growth.
You’ll work closely with ownership, our medical director and the existing clinical team to deliver high-quality wellness care, strengthen clinic systems and create an exceptional patient experience from consultation through follow-up.
The ideal candidate is clinically confident, commercially aware and comfortable taking ownership of patient outcomes, consultation conversion and clinic performance.
Wellness & Patient Care
- Conduct comprehensive consultations, review medical histories and laboratory results, and develop individualized treatment plans with appropriate monitoring.
- Support and expand our hormone, wellness and preventive care programs.
- Educate patients clearly about treatment options, expectations, risks and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and consistent standards for informed consent, communication and continuity of care.
- Build trust with patients through attentive, personalized care and thoughtful follow-through.
Clinic Leadership & Operations
- Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory, patient flow and service standards.
- Hire, train, mentor and coach team members while establishing clear expectations and accountability.
- Partner with ownership and the medical director on clinical protocols, quality improvement and new service development.
- Identify operational gaps, solve problems proactively and help create systems that support a growing practice.
- Monitor key clinical, operational and financial metrics and communicate performance regularly to ownership.
Sales, Consultation Conversion & Patient Experience
- Lead consultations with confidence: understand patient goals, present clinically appropriate treatment plans, explain pricing and value, address questions and objections, and confidently close treatment bookings.
- Take ownership of timely consultation follow-up, helping interested patients resolve outstanding questions and move forward with treatment.
- Track consultation conversion into paid treatment, work toward agreed sales goals and coach the team to improve consultation skills, closing and follow-through.
- Strengthen rebooking, memberships and patient retention through a relationship-based approach.
- Support promotions, educational events and marketing initiatives in coordination with our marketing vendor.
- Represent Pure Wellness MedSpa as a knowledgeable, professional and trusted voice in the community.
You Will Succeed If
You take ownership without waiting to be directed. You care about the details of your clinical work, documentation, patient communication and business results, and you consistently follow through.
You are comfortable balancing patient care with leadership responsibilities. You can coach a team, address challenges directly, make sound decisions and remain composed in a fast-moving environment.
You are confident discussing treatment costs and asking patients to move forward. You understand that effective consultation requires listening, clear recommendations and follow-up, and you are comfortable being accountable for conversion and sales results.
You are also committed to continuous improvement. You welcome feedback, stay current in your field and look for practical ways to improve the patient experience and clinic performance.
Above all, you operate with integrity and understand that a successful clinic is built through clinical excellence, strong relationships and shared accountability.
