Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team at our lounge during our Brunch hours of 10am-3pm Wednesday- Sunday. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patrons receive high-quality service while enjoying their meals.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha or Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and assist guests with selections to enhance their dining experience through effective upselling techniques.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices.
- Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with attention to detail.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring compliance with health standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha, Micros, or OpenTable is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, safety, and sanitation practices is essential.
- Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus but not required.
