Pure Stack Inc is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Cabling Technician to support commercial cabling projects. The ideal candidate delivers clean, organized, and efficient installations and can manage projects from estimate to completion.
- Run low-voltage data cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A) neatly and efficiently
- Install and manage raceways, conduit, and finger ducting
- Build and organize MDFs and IDFs
- Install network racks, cabinets, patch panels, and cable management
- Install, rack, and patch network switches
- Terminate cables on both ends (patch panels and keystone jacks)
- Build keystone jacks and RJ45 connectors
- Install and organize finger ducting for clean rack layouts
- Label all cabling, ports, and panels clearly and accurately
- Estimate cabling jobs and required materials
- Maintain clean, professional job sites
- Complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on low-voltage cabling experience (3–4 years preferred)
- Experience installing raceways and finger ducting
- Strong understanding of structured cabling best practices
- Experience building MDFs and IDFs
- Proficient in terminating patch panels, keystone jacks, and RJ45 connectors
- Highly organized with strong labeling and documentation habits
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Clean driving record required
- Reliable transportation and tools
- C-7 Low Voltage Contractor License (a plus, not required)
- Commercial cabling experience
- Cable testing and certification experience
- Ability to read floor plans and cabling diagrams
- $20–$45/hour, based on experience
