We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Cannabis Cultivator to join our team. This role involves working in both indoor and outdoor environments, utilizing various cultivation techniques to ensure optimal growth and health of the plants.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily care of cannabis plants, including watering, feeding, and monitoring plant health.
- Implement irrigation systems effectively to maintain optimal moisture levels.
- Conduct regular inspections of plants for signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies.
- Utilize horticultural practices to promote healthy growth and maximize yield.
- Assist in transplanting seedlings and maintaining greenhouse conditions.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed for planting, harvesting, and moving equipment or materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cultivation area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to develop cultivation strategies that align with production goals.
Skills
- Proven experience in irrigation systems and techniques.
- Strong growing experience with a focus on cannabis or similar crops.
- Background in horticulture, agriculture, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with greenhouse operations and maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of lawn care, farming, landscaping, and other outdoor work is beneficial.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is a plus.
- Proficient with hand tools used in gardening and cultivation tasks.
- Ability to identify various plant species and their specific care requirements.
- Basic math skills for measuring nutrients and calculating growth metrics.
