What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Leasing Counsel/Senior Associate position at Pure Search?
I am currently partnering with a top-tier Am Law national firm that is strategically scaling it's Miami office. They have a specific need that bucks the usual lateral market trend.
One of their top Miami shareholders leads a booming real estate leasing and development practice, representing major REITs, national retail and hospitality brands, and corporate tenants on both local skyline projects and multi-state portfolio rollouts. Due to massive deal flow, they have hit a capacity wall.
They need a sharp, senior-level attorney to step directly into this pipeline.
The Scope of Work
- Commercial Leasing Focus: Drafting and negotiating complex commercial leases across retail, hospitality, office, and industrial asset classes.
- Landlord & Tenant Representation: Handling both single-site negotiations and high-volume national portfolio leasing strategies for major brands and institutional owners.
- Complex Deal Structuring: Ground leases, master subleases, sale-leaseback transactions, and operating agreements.
- Transactional Balance: Beyond leasing, you will support traditional transactional work, including acquisitions, dispositions, and joint venture equity structures.
The Profile & Strategic Upside
- Experience Level: Senior Associate to Counsel (approx. 2012–2018 class years).
- Immediate Impact: You will take the lead on high-level overflow work generated by this booming practice with minimal ramp-up required.
- Clear Path to Partnership: You aren't being hired just to grind in the background. The firm explicitly wants this incoming attorney to leverage their national cross-selling platform to build an independent, self-sustaining practice over time.
If you have top-tier transactional and leasing chops but haven't had the runway or platform to build your own book yet, this is your springboard. Apply Now!
