Job Overview
- Travelling Robotics Engineer performing installation and general maintenance of robotic/automation systems to CNC equipment
- Expected travel is 70% throughout the U.S. – other 30% will be in-house
- No weekend work required
- Company vehicle provided and expenses paid (hotel, gas, laptop, etc.)
- Salary $70,000 - $100,000 (depending on experience)

Job Responsibilities
The Robotics Engineer will utilize their background and experience to install robotic work cells with CNC machines:
- Familiar with integrating industrial robotic cell with CNC machine
- Must be familiar with Fanuc robot arms
- Ensure installs are executed in the most effective manner in regards to time, cost (budget), quality, and function
- Clear communication with management and the shop leadership on issues that arise
- Develop and implement quality improvement or cost reduction initiatives (standards)
- Contribute to project teams, providing help outside of robotics scope when required
- Establish beneficial relationships with our key supplier products and services
Requirements
- Experience with robotic system installation and general maintenance
- Experience with PLC Ladder Logic programing
- Experience working with Fanuc robots/controls
- Experience with CNC G/M codes preferred
- CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) is a plus
- Technical degree or higher preferred
Pay: $70, $100,000.00 per year
