What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Manager position at Pure Safety Group, Inc.?
MAJOR FUNCTION:
- Manage new product development projects through the New Product Development (NPD) process
- Review marketplace to establish customer requirements for new products
- Establish functional product requirements for Design Engineers
- Create marketing plans based on competitive landscape
- Analyze product segment performance to create and manage new projects for improving existing product lines
- Work with Marketing & Sales teams to successfully launch new products
- Work in cross-functional teams including Customer Service, Production, Quality Control, Engineering, Procurement, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience working in a manufacturing operation
- Experience working in a compliance driven environment
- Experience with product development
- Experience with product marketing
- Product Manager that has experience developing products in a process driven
environment and the ability to use a data driven approach to bring products to market with the right pricing and feature sets.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Bachelor of Science degree required, in Engineering or Business discipline is required
- Master’s in Business Administration, Engineering or similar is preferred
Knowledge and personal attributes:
- Requires Leadership and Management skills
- Advanced Computer/technology skills
