Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently.
- Maintain floors through proper care techniques such as sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and carpet cleaning to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally while maintaining respectful communication.
- Follow established sanitation protocols to ensure all areas meet health standards and safety regulations.
- Assist with janitorial tasks including waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment in optimal condition.
- Support housekeeping management in coordinating schedules and ensuring all cleaning duties are completed on time.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as waxing, buffing, carpet extraction, and stain removal.
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices and safety procedures related to cleaning environments.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling as needed.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward clients and team members.
- Experience with laundry operations and janitorial equipment operation is advantageous.
