Role Description The Technical Sales Engineer is a full-time hybrid role based in Mobile, AL, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for identifying customer needs, developing technical solutions, and presenting equipment and system proposals for industrial and municipal water and wastewater applications. Day-to-day activities include preparing quotes, reviewing specifications and drawings, coordinating with manufacturers, and providing technical support during design, installation, and startup. The Technical Sales Engineer will schedule and attend client meetings, conduct site visits, deliver product demonstrations, and participate in industry events and trainings. The role also involves managing a sales pipeline, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, and collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure successful project execution.

- Candidates should possess Technical Support skills, including troubleshooting, interpreting specifications, and assisting customers with technical inquiries.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, presentation abilities, and active listening with diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical) or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in water and wastewater treatment, industrial process equipment, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with standard office software and CRM tools, and willingness to travel within the regional territory.
