What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compounding Pharmacy Technician position at Pure Pharmacy?
We are adding a Compounding Pharmacy Technician to our team We offer competitive pay and benefits, including PTO (3 wks/yr), seven paid holidays, 401K (with 100% match up to 4%), medical, dental, and vision. Monday - Friday schedule, 40 hours per week. $500 signing bonus after 90 days.
Responsibilities:
- Safely perform compounding of sterile and nonsterile medications
- Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
- Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
- Process prescriptions using computer software
- Label and record dosage information
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
- Prepare logs for compounding
- Perform other pharmacy technician process functions including fill, payment, label, and ship
Qualifications:
- Pharmacy technician license in the state of Indiana required
- Compounding experience required
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
