Duties
- Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to maintain healthy turf and vibrant landscapes
- Use hand tools and power tools to prune trees, shrubs, and hedges with precision and care
- Operate landscaping equipment such as excavators, snow plows (seasonal), and irrigation systems to support various maintenance tasks
- Conduct landscape improvements including hardscape installations like patios or walkways
- Assist with tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote safety and aesthetic appeal
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance
- Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or gardening projects to meet client needs year-round
Experience
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating and maintaining power tools and landscaping machinery effectively
- Familiarity with horticulture principles, tree care techniques, and irrigation systems will enhance your success in this role
