Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and service garage doors, openers, and related hardware
- Use basic hand tools and power tools for day-to-day tasks
- Read simple diagrams or instructions to complete installations
- Safely lift and move garage door sections and equipment
- Assist with light carpentry, framing, or finishing work when needed
- Troubleshoot common mechanical issues with guidance and training
- Maintain a clean work area and follow basic safety procedures
- Provide friendly, professional service to customers
Qualifications
- General experience in construction, carpentry, mechanical work, or similar hands-on trades is helpful, but not required
- Comfortable using basic tools and learning new skills
- Able to lift and move heavy materials safely
- Willing to work on ladders or in elevated areas when needed
- Strong problem-solving skills and a good attitude toward learning
- Must have a valid driver’s license for travel between job sites
- Any experience with garage doors, electrical work, welding, or carpentry is a bonus, but not necessary
