As a Customer Service Representative, you know bed bugs don’t care about your vacation plans, and termites don’t RSVP. The Customer Service Representative helps homeowners navigate urgent pest issues by confirming service eligibility, matching them with licensed pest control partners, and scheduling fast resolutions. No drama. Just dead bugs and peace of mind.
Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative
- Support pest control clients in person, providing clear guidance on service options, treatment plans, and bundled solutions.
- Troubleshoot service concerns, delivering timely resolutions that improve satisfaction and strengthen loyalty.
- Recommend tailored pest control plans through consultative discussions that align with customer needs and maximize value.
- Stay current on pest control promotions, treatment methods, and service packages to ensure accurate and informed guidance.
- Process service enrollments, upgrades, and scheduling requests while maintaining CRM accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with supervisors and fellow representatives to refine support strategies, share insights, and enhance campaign performance.
Minimum Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in customer support or sales, ideally within pest control, home services, or subscription-based industries.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to clearly explain pest control treatment options, resolve customer concerns, and build trust.
- Organized, proactive, and adaptable, with resilience to thrive in fast-paced service environments while meeting customer satisfaction goals.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and digital tools to manage accounts, schedule services, track performance, and streamline workflows.
