Duties
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including those requiring Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, and assisted living support
- Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with health regulation policies and best practices
- Oversee medication administration processes in accordance with healthcare standards and safety protocols
- Manage daily operations of the care facility, including staffing schedules, budgeting, and financial management to optimize resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations and health policies through regular audits, documentation review, and staff training
- Lead efforts in resident advocacy by supporting residents’ rights and fostering a respectful community environment
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation, reporting, staff communication, and regulatory compliance tracking
Experience
- Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in residential or community-based settings
- Nursing home experience with a focus on senior living or assisted living environments is highly desirable
- Demonstrated management or supervisory experience within healthcare or long-term care facilities
- In-depth knowledge of long-term care regulations, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease care practices, and disability services standards
- Strong background in healthcare financial management, budgeting, and operational oversight
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures and health regulation policies
- Leadership experience in nursing leadership or nursing home administration is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for administrative tasks and reporting purposes
