Position Summary
The Production Associate is responsible for safely manufacturing, packaging, and preparing high-quality food products while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and efficiency.
This position plays an important role in ensuring customer orders are produced accurately and efficiently while supporting company production goals. Successful employees are dependable, detail-oriented, safety-minded, and work well in a team environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Package finished products into pouches, bags, boxes, and other customer-specific packaging.
- Handle raw ingredients while following all food safety and allergen control procedures.
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently after appropriate training.
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
- Inspect products, packaging, labels, and lot codes for accuracy.
- Report product defects, equipment issues, or food safety concerns immediately.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Participate in routine cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), SQF requirements, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
- Palletize finished product according to customer specifications.
- Safely operate manual pallet jacks and other approved equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Complete required production paperwork accurately and timely.
- Work cooperatively with supervisors and fellow employees.
- Cross-train in other production departments as assigned.
- Assist with inventory movements and staging finished goods when necessary.
- Perform all other duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when appropriate.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
- Commitment to workplace safety and food safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Previous food manufacturing experience.
- Experience working under GMP, HACCP, or SQF standards.
- Experience operating manufacturing equipment.
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
Physical Requirements
Employees must be able to:
- Stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift.
- Frequently bend, twist, kneel, squat, and reach.
- Push and pull carts, pallets, and materials.
- Lift and carry up to 60 pounds on a regular basis.
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Work around food allergens.
- Work in varying temperatures depending on the production area.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
