What are the responsibilities and job description for the Massage Therapist position at Pure Day Spa?
We are seeking a skilled, professional, client-focused Massage Therapist to provide therapeutic and relaxation massage services in a welcoming, professional environment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of massage techniques, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to helping clients improve their overall well-being.
You must be available to work on Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage services based on clients’ individual needs and preferences.
- Conduct client consultations to understand health history, concerns, goals, and treatment preferences.
- Apply a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, therapeutic, and other modalities as qualified.
- Communicate professionally with clients before, during, and after treatments.
- Maintain professional boundaries and provide a comfortable, respectful experience for every client.
- Recommend appropriate follow-up services based on clients’ needs without applying undue pressure.
Qualifications
- Must have a current massage therapy license (Pennsylvania)
- At least 1 year of experience is preferred
- Experience in a spa, wellness center, medical setting, chiropractic office, or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain client confidentiality.
