Chiropractic Assistant

Pure Chiropractic
Livonia, MI Full Time
POSTED ON 7/23/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/20/2026

Pure Chiropractic is looking for an energetic, dependable, and people-focused team member to join our growing practice.

This is not a traditional front desk position where you simply answer phones and check people in. You will play an important role in creating an exceptional patient experience, assisting with neurological assessments, supporting office growth, and helping families feel confident throughout their care journey.

Our office serves individuals and families who want to improve their health by better understanding and supporting the nervous system. We work with adults, children, and families, including children experiencing challenges such as ADHD, sensory processing concerns, developmental delays, anxiety, sleep difficulties, and other nervous system-related issues.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and wants their work to make a meaningful difference.

What You Will Do To Create An Outstanding Patient Experience

  • Warmly welcome patients and families into the office
  • Help new patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for
  • Manage check-in, check-out, scheduling, phone calls, text messages, and email communication
  • Clearly explain office procedures, appointment expectations, and next steps
  • Build strong relationships with patients and help them stay engaged in their care
  • Recognize concerns and communicate them to the appropriate team member

Assist With Neurological Assessments

  • Guide patients through our assessment process
  • Perform non-invasive neurological scans and other office assessments after training
  • Accurately enter and organize patient information
  • Prepare assessment rooms and equipment
  • Help patients understand what to expect without diagnosing or interpreting clinical findings
  • Maintain a calm and reassuring environment, especially when working with children and families

Previous healthcare experience is helpful but not required. We will provide training for the right person.

Support Practice Growth

  • Follow up with prospective and current patients by phone, text, and email
  • Help new patients schedule their first appointments
  • Reconnect with patients who have missed appointments or fallen out of care
  • Assist with community events, office promotions, workshops, and patient appreciation activities
  • Encourage patient referrals by consistently providing an exceptional experience
  • Help track leads, scheduled appointments, attendance, and other important office goals
  • Look for opportunities to improve systems, communication, and the overall patient experience

The Right Person for This Role

You may be a great fit if you are:

  • Naturally warm, positive, and encouraging
  • Comfortable talking with new people in person and over the phone
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities
  • Confident working with computers, scheduling systems, and office technology
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow established procedures
  • Dependable, punctual, and prepared
  • Comfortable working in a busy office with children and families
  • Motivated by goals and willing to participate in office growth
  • Open to feedback, coaching, and continued personal development
  • Able to remain calm and professional when the office becomes busy
  • Interested in natural health, family wellness, and nervous system-focused care
  • Looking for more than “just a job”

Our Team Values

Our team is built around three important qualities:

Humble: You put the team and patients first, accept feedback, and are willing to learn.

Hungry: You take initiative, work hard, and look for ways to make the office better.

Smart: You understand people, communicate thoughtfully, and recognize how your actions affect others.

We are looking for someone who wants to contribute, grow, and become an important part of our team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, healthcare, childcare, sales, or an administrative role is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills
  • Ability to protect confidential patient information
  • Ability to stand, move throughout the office, and operate assessment equipment
  • Availability to work during our scheduled patient hours and attend occasional team meetings or community events

What We Offer

  • Meaningful work that positively impacts families
  • Hands-on training and ongoing professional development
  • A positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Opportunities to take on additional responsibility as the practice grows
  • Chiropractic care
  • Paid time off
  • Performance incentives or growth bonuses
  • A workplace where your ideas, effort, and personal growth matter
