Car Wash Co-Manager - Sales, Leadership, & Customer Experience

Overview

Pure Car Wash is hiring a Co-Manager to help lead our team and deliver a great customer experience. We're looking for someone who enjoys talking with customers, can confidently sell wash memberships, and knows how to bring out the best in employees. You'll help train and motivate the team, set clear expectations, address performance issues when needed, and create a positive, accountable workplace. Our existing manager handles the technical side of the wash; this role focuses on our people, customer relationships, and sales.

Duties

• Lead by example on the lot: greet customers, explain wash options, and sell memberships.
• Coach employees on customer service and membership sales, giving clear, useful feedback.
• Set expectations for attendance, professionalism, and job performance; address issues promptly and fairly.
• Help train new hires and keep the team motivated, engaged, and accountable.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and coverage when needed.
• Handle customer questions and complaints calmly, including situations that require a firm but respectful response.
• Work alongside our existing manager to keep shifts organized and the customer experience consistent.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming property and step in wherever the team needs support.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a customer-facing team, such as in retail, hospitality, food service, or a car wash.
• A track record of coaching employees, setting expectations, and addressing performance issues directly and respectfully.
• Confidence speaking with customers and selling memberships or other recurring services.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm when handling customer or employee concerns.
• Dependability, good judgement, and a willingness to work alongside the team during busy shifts.
• Car wash experience is welcome but not required. We can teach the wash; we need someone who already knows how to lead people.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
