Pay Rate: $17–$20/hour (based on experience and education)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-time seasonal (June–August)

Position Overview:
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Lead Teacher to join our PA Kids Summer Camp team. As a Lead Teacher, you’ll guide and supervise a group of campers, implement daily programming, and ensure a safe, positive environment that promotes creativity, learning, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a group of 18–20 students daily in structured and recreational activities
- Implement and adapt curriculum aligned with weekly camp themes
- Supervise and manage classroom behavior using positive discipline strategies
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and camp leadership
- Ensure camper safety and follow licensing and program guidelines
- Collaborate with assistant teachers and site staff for smooth camp operations
- Participate in staff training, daily prep, and end-of-day debriefs
- Maintain clean and organized classroom and supply areas
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a structured setting (e.g., childcare, camps, schools)
- Strong classroom management and leadership skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)
- Must pass background check and meet all state licensing requirements
