Purdy Costless Pharmacy is a locally owned and independently operated pharmacy, seeking a dependable pharmacy technician as well as a pharmacy assistant, to join our growing team. This position is for a day shift 20-30hrs/week data entry technician. You must be detail oriented, have experience processing prescriptions (Pioneer system a plus) and positive attitude is required.
Responsibilities
Greet customers with a positive and kind smile
Receive prescriptions and check validity
Electronically process prescriptions and validate complete and accurate adjudication of each claim.
Resolve any customer and insurance issues that may arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims)
Monitor inventory, sort, stock, and label per requirements
Ability to communicate with patients, doctor’s offices, and insurance companies
Comply with quality standards and security measures
Qualifications:
Must be licensed by the Board of Pharmacy through the State of Washington
Current knowledge of medication and dosage measurements
Applicable knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
Excellent and positive communication and customer service skills
Positive attitude (we love what we do and so should you)
