Position Overview
Works in receiving, shipping, general warehousing, kit and bag production and distribution of company’s products and services. Receiving inbound shipments and fulfilling sales orders.

General Duties
- Pack and unpack product in corrugated boxes to be stocked/ shipped.
- Receive and count product; record data manually and/ or electronically in computer.
- Verify inventory counts on packing lists by comparing them to the actual physical counts of stock. Investigate discrepancies.
- Access records and process receiving, shipping on a computer workstation.
- Mark inventory with barcode labels.
- Examine and inspect product to verify quality.
- Fill customer orders; prepare bill of ladings for shipment.
- Operate automated bag packaging equipment.
- Rework product when needed.
- Store product in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses.
- Keep all work areas clean and organized.
Skills/Abilities
- Ability to drive a forklift and use other material handling equipment
- Ability to work in a fast paced distribution environment
- Ability to lift and repack up to 50 pound boxes throughout the day
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Must be able to work in a team environment, follow directions and procedures, and maintain positive attitude at all times.
- Basic knowledge of computers. MS Excel and MS Word is a plus.
- Ability to work in accordance with safety requirements.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum 6 months related experience preferred
- Basic math, reading and record keeping skills required.
- Forklift safety certificate; if not, company will provide class and certification.
Salary : $17
